A Prayer Against Sickness & Disease

Lord, my God, You know. You know the times and seasons, for You ordained them from the beginning. And now Lord, in this season, You still know. And we thank You that nothing catches You off-guard or by surprise. In light of the recent pandemic illness (coronavirus), I still believe you Lord. I still trust You. I’m still listening! And I don’t mind waiting on You! I believe the Word spoken by Isaiah when he said Your righteous servant would justify MANY by bearing our iniquities. And that You, Jesus, would be wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities; the chastisement for my peace would be upon You; and by Your stripes I would be made (not just healed) but altogether whole. I will forever [wholly] receive that for myself, my family, my church, and everyone connected to me. Yes Lord, I stand in the gap and make up the hedge for them too!!! I thank You that, even now, Your standard is being raised against this mighty flood that has come in by reason of the Devil. Lord, we have conflicts on the outside and fears on the inside- but our blessed assurance of health, wellness, strength, and long life in You Jesus will stand forever!! And now, I command and take decisive authority over every sickness and every single disease- whether it be the coronavirus, ANY virus, cancer, auto-immune disorder, hypertension, diabetes, blood disorders, mental illness/ memory problems, stomach/ digestion problems, kidney problems, liver issues, congestive heart failure, ANY organ failure, AND EVERY OTHER DISEASE/ DISORDER/ DYSFUNCTION OF THE MIND, BODY, OR SOUL- I DECLARE THAT IT MUST BOW TO THE NAME OF JESUS AND LEAVE OUR BODIES INDEFINITELY. I l plead the blood of Jesus over my life so that when sickness sees the blood, it has to pass over me in Jesus’ name. Lord, some of us don’t have silver and gold, but we got YOU! We may not be able to afford the best medicines, doctors, or treatments of this world, but thanks be to God for the Healing Balm that is Jesus Christ that has given us life through His sacrifice! Lord, we may be shaken but we’re still standing on Your promise! And it is in the Mighty, Everlasting Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth- the very Son of God- we pray, amen and let it be so.

Now beloved, go and believe in your innermost being that God has made you whole in every way, period. But don’t be ignorant. Cover your coughs & sneezes and wash your hands. A lot. We must do the practical and let God do the providential. I love you. Be blessed and well.

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.

Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.

Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”
